Okay, I just saw this comment on a post I made here a while back. Yes, clearly it made me angry... I don't know who this anonymous IDIOT fertile thinks they are...

  1. I'm betting someone who wanted to stir up bad feelings. Most likely a troll, just purposely trying to make others feel bad or start a fight. People like that are worth ignoring, that's for sure. They're ignorant and jerks - that's all they will ever be good for.

  2. I would love to have to stay up all night with my infant/pregnancy symptoms, I actually can picture myself smiling after bouts of morning sickness...

  3. No you wouldnt. And no, I am NOT a troll, i just wanted people to have a realistic view of how it is to care for a newborn. its not all sunshine and roses. at all. this is how child abuse comes about, people that think babies are some sort of plaything and then reality sets in, and they cant stand it.
also, morning sickness blows also, you arent missing anything, trust me.

  5. I don't think there is a single IF woman out there who is so stupid as to believe that caring for a newborn is like taking care of a doll.

    come on!

  6. No, and i didnt mean it like that. I meant that there are quite a few people that act like babies are all fun and games, barren or not. I am sorry if i offended anyone, it was not my intent.

  7. I think it's safe to say, you offended EVERYONE.

Guess there is nothing you can do for truly ignorant people.

Why can't you understand that you are not welcome here, clearly, with your assumptions and opinions. You have no idea what it's like to be any of us, and how dare you think so highly of yourself to have to "educate" us that ARE NOT ABLE TO HAVE CHILDREN. Moron... that doesn't mean we don't know about children, or like we've never been around them. Of course, you wouldn't stop to think that maybe some of have actually cared for a child before. Just because you give birth doesn't mean you are all knowing in parenting. I dare say we would all be far better mother's because of what we go through trying to get there. We would APPRECIATE all the things that come with pregnancy and raising a child, where as it's something so common for you, you have no idea what that's about.

Don't you dare tell us what we would and would relish in as new mothers. Who the hell do you really think you are.

YES, we all would give ANYTHING to be staying up with a crying infant of our own.

Get lost, and take your ignorance with you.

  8. Nice response. This is crap and not what this place is for. We shouldn't have to defend ourselves here.

  11. As someone dealing with infertility who has had two miscarriages, I HAVE dealt with morning sickness.

I can tell you, I was miserable when it was happening- no one likes to feel sick. BUT I knew it would all be worth it if there was a baby at the end of it.

    There wasn't.

So, I go through my cycles, shooting myself full of hormones, in the hopes that I will once again have morning sickness.

  12. H.C.- excellent response! Considering I helped raise my brother, started babysitting my neighbours at 11, working in daycamps, preschools and have now been an elementary school teacher for 4 years, I think it's safe to say I have SOME inclination as to what children are like! ugh! lol

Just Me- so sorry for your loss :( I'm shooting up too...days away from egg retrieval for ivf #1. Be strong ((hugs))
