Sometimes, it just hits me how so NOT fair this whole IF thing is. Like right now when I have to fork over $341 to pay for just 2 meds to even have a TRY at having a baby.
This should be FREE!
Most people don't have to work this hard or pay this much. I want to be one of them.

I am so sorry Alison,
ReplyDeleteIt sucks that we have to go through all of this money to try and have a baby!!!
I personally feel the government should be helping us out since we are trying to bring another tax payer into the world!!!

Oh, I know the feeling. It really does just hit sometimes how ridiculous this is.
ReplyDeleteI think the money involved is truly adding insult to injury. It sucks!
ReplyDeleteI cried the other day thinking about how much adoption costs and how long it takes...so, I feel ya, sista!
ReplyDeleteSarah has the right idea-- government infertility bailouts would be a good thing.
I agree. I just posted today on twitter that I'm tired of finances dictating how many kids I can possibly have.
ReplyDeleteThis is beyond unfair.
it's so frustrating!! i don't know how many times i've gotten angry about not having any IF insurance coverage! some friends of ours just had a baby on friday and i have to try really hard not to get mad when i think of how easily (and at no cost) they conceived. then i think of how we have spent all of our "emergency fund" money on ivf...it isn't fair! trying to focus on we've gotten out of our efforts and on the lessons we've learned as a couple =)
ReplyDeleteLOL....yes, I agree with the pp...stupid tax would be great
ReplyDeletehaha love the stupid tax idea!
ReplyDeleteAgreed! Where is the "fair" in all of this?? Today I got told that I don't qualify for IVF funding because of some stupid form says so. I feel like hunting down the (clearly fertile) person who wrote the form and putting a piranha down their pants.
