My husband and I have been TTC for about 8 years so needless to say, I'm a bit sensitive to pregnancy announcements. Well I signed on to my Facebook page this evening and low and behold one of my "friends", a woman that I knew in high school, changes her profile picture to that of a positive pregnancy test! She actually made it her profile picture! To make matters worse, I was looking at my state's foster/adoption web site just 2 minutes before. Got to love that little piece of irony. Sometimes it feels like the universe is laughing at me.

Another reason I just deactivated my FB account the other day.

One of mine announced by changing her profile pic to her sonogram. I cried. I'm just glad I wasn't with a client, since I was at work and I'm a therapist!
ReplyDeleteWow. This is like deja vu. Today was just on facebook (hardly ever go there anymore) and saw a friend who had one of those 4D sonograms as her pic! Very frustrating.
