I would like to express my hate for the new series of Nissan commercials. The worst is the "first" one when the woman comes out waving a pregnancy test saying "It's positive!" For those of us who have been trying for ages without so much as a hint of a second pink line or "Pregnant" come up on those godforsaken tests, the whole thing is like a punch in the gut every time I see it. And what's worse, it seems to always be on during football games - wtf! I thought football games were supposed to be safe from fertiles rubbing this shit in our faces, but apparently not. Sigh.

ReplyDeleteMy husband and I hate that commercial also. We have had four losses and we sit here and shake our heads at the prospect of that man worrying about the size of his car as soon as she gets that positive test. Oh to ever be that naive again!
ReplyDeleteUgh!! I feel like throwing my remote at the TV!!! But then I remember it would cost me money to replace the TV, and I need all the money I've got to pay for freaking IVF!!! So ignorant and infuriating!!

ReplyDeleteLike the ipad2 commercial. First thing it shows is an ultrasound. Then near the end it shows the beginning stages of the embryo's cells multiplying.
I HATE this commercial and other ones like it. I lost a set of triplets so it's a punch in the gut every time it comes on TV. :(
